Scope of work
The MBTA seeks statements of qualifications from development firms for a joint-development partner to redevelop its approximately 3.6-acre Lynn Garage site near the commuter-rail station. Stage 1 evaluates relevant development experience, key personnel, financial capacity and a concise project vision. Respondents should submit the required qualifications and certifications through COMMBUYS; technical designs and pricing are not requested at this stage. Only qualified shortlisted respondents will be invited to a later Stage 2 RFP for a full development proposal. A future pre-development agreement and ground lease would be separately negotiated. Optional one-on-one meetings and an optional reference data room are described in the RFQ.
