MBTA seeks furnishing and delivery of five powered, left-hand No. 8 composite-tie turnouts using 136RE rail for the Widett Layover Facility, in accordance with Specification 02855P. Delivery to 100 Foodmart Road, Boston, is required by September 2, 2027. The supplier handles design, manufacture, testing, material certifications and freight; the separately procured installation contractor handles on-site installation responsibilities. Award is based on the lowest priced responsive bid from a responsible supplier; the specification requires experience on at least three comparable North American transit or railroad contracts.
