Scope of work
The MBTA seeks a supplier to furnish and deliver 11,000 linear feet of 12-strand outdoor fiber-optic cable and 7,000 linear feet of 96-strand outdoor fiber-optic cable for the Widett Layover Facility, in accordance with Specification 16749P. The supplier scope includes manufacture or procurement, quality control and factory testing, shipping, delivery and required material certifications and submittals. Delivery is FOB to 100 Foodmart Road, Boston, by September 2, 2027. Installation and final field testing are identified as a separate contractor scope. Submit the required bid forms, pricing, specification information and applicable insurance evidence as instructed in the IFB.
