The City of Capitola is seeking proposals from qualified executive search firms to recruit the City’s next City Manager. Consultant Responsibilities: The selected recruitment firm will manage the end-to-end recruitment process. Key deliverables include: Outreach : Initiating an extensive, proactive regional and nationwide marketing and outreach campaign. Screening : Conducting in-depth background screening and preliminary interviews. Candidate Selection : Providing the City Council with a qualified cohort of final recommended candidates. Interview Coordination : Structuring and coordinating a comprehensive, one-day interview process (expected to include multiple stakeholder panels and an extended interview with the City Council). Vetting : Conducting thorough follow-up professional reference checks and background verifications. Response Deadline: Proposals must be received no later than 5:00 pm on Friday October 23 rd .
