Scope of work
MassDOT Highway Division Right of Way Bureau is reopening enrollment for expert cost estimators and movers supporting persons and businesses displaced by eminent-domain takings across Massachusetts. Work may include expert cost reports, valuation of displaced personal property and signs, moving-cost estimates, review of moving-cost reasonableness, and verification of personal-property inventories. The RFR requires at least five years of specialized experience, relevant expert qualifications, references, good-standing evidence and contractual-relationship disclosure. Responses are submitted through COMMBUYS; contractors admitted through this reopening receive the remaining term of the existing contract ending June 30, 2029.
