ITB: Ocean Ridge Reclaimed Waterline Click here to view full document INVITATION TO BID Pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes § 143-129 et. seq., Brunswick County (“County” or “Owner”) is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of: Ocean Ridge Reclaimed Waterline . Sealed bids must be received by 3:00 PM ET on Thursday, November 19, 2026 , in the Brunswick County Public Utilities Operations Center located at 250 Grey Water Road NE, Supply, NC 28462. Bids will be for the furnishing of all labor and materials, including all equipment required, as detailed in the technical specifications, construction drawings, and summary of work contained herein. Any changes to the specifications or summary of work or clarifications to the Contract Documents will be made in the form of an addendum hereto and will be supplied to all known prospective bidders and posted on the County’s website. Notwithstanding the foregoing, bidders will be responsible for ensuring that they have all addenda. Each sealed bid must be made on the forms provided. Brunswick County will not be responsible for the failure of any mail or delivery service to deliver a bid by the aforementioned date and time. Regardless of the manner of submission, bids received after the aforementioned date and time, incomplete bids, or bids not submitted at the correct location or in the designated manner will not be accepted. Sealed bids will be opened publicly and read aloud on Thursday, November 19, 2026, at 3:00 PM ET in the Brunswick County Public Utilities Operations Center located at 250 Grey Water Road NE, Supply, NC 28462. The contract shall be Single Prime . A general description of the work includes: Base Bid Description : Provide all labor, materials, and incidentals for the installation of the Ocean Ridge Reclaimed Waterline which includes but is not limited to: 7,250 LF of 16” reclaimed waterline along with all required appurtenances, jack and bores, horizontal directional drills, erosion control, clearing and grading, and connections to existing reclaimed waterlines. Alternate Bid #1 Description : Provide all labor, materials, and incidentals for the installation of the Ocean Ridge Reclaimed Waterline which includes 650 LF of 8” reclaimed waterline along with all required appurtenances, jack and bores, horizontal directional drills, erosion control, clearing and grading, and connections to existing reclaimed waterlines. Alternate Bid #2 Description : Provide all labor, materials, and incidentals for the installation of the Ocean Ridge Reclaimed Waterline telemetry equipment which includes approximately 3,500 LF of 2” PVC conduit with junction boxes/pull boxes along route of proposed and existing 8” reclaimed waterline to new automatic valve at existing pond #4. Contractor to provide telemetry equipment and new flow meter for communication to Castlebrook pump station. Pre-Bid Meeting: An optional pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders and vendors on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 10 AM ET at the Brunswick County Public Utilities Operations Center located at 250 Grey Water Road NE, Supply, NC 28462. Directions are as follows: From Wilmington, NC, follow US 17 toward Supply. Turn right onto Hwy 211 heading towards Bolton. In approximately one mile, turn right onto Grey Water Road NE (beside athletic park). Utilities Operations Center is on the right.
